![]() Not sure what my USB has to do with my PCI - Express slots, but I keep getting this. The last thing I tried was downloading this ASMedia USB3.1 driver directly from Dell and reinstall it. This time its an Acomdata external drive that wont mount. Here is a link to one that seems to be exactly like it. To recap, ASMedia will exhibit the USB 3. Right-click on the below tested with fields for it arrived. Removable drive, my SanDisk USB pen drive, has a recognition problem in Windows 10 Disk Management. ![]() And in device manager I edited to properties to "Disable" power saving for the USB Hubs when not used. I followed all instructions online and can't seem to find a fix, I've changed the power management settings to always enable USB power at max levels. Unplug the Front Panel USB 3.0 Port Header on the motherboard. Disable Secure Boot, and Enable USB Wake Support (S3) by doing the following: Power on the system Press F2 when you see Dell logo onscreen. Now I ran the Dell SupportAssist diagnostics and I keep getting this message, I think it may be the key to all my issues. After Windows 10 is installed, complete the Windows Updates. I couldn't get the mouse to work in ANY other USB port/HUB (front or back) only plugged into the keyboard. ![]() Then it stopped working completely.Īfter a few hours of troubleshooting, the mouse only seems to work when plugged into my keyboard (Razer Chroma V2), which is also plugged into the back USB hub (strange huh?) It kept periodically disconnecting and Windows 10 kept alerting me that the "device has malfunctioned". Last week my Chaos G905 Mouse stopped working plugged into the back of the computer. ![]()
